Ellen Wallace in the Bernune vineyards near Sierre, Switzerland.
Ellen Wallace, avid gardener and world traveler for more than 45 years. My garden is home to flowers, fruits, vegetables grown at 1,100 metres altitude in the Swiss Alps, near Crans-Montana, as well as a host of critters, starting with frogs in the pond and including others I am less fond of. Foxes and cows and birds galore in the neighbourhood.

I am not familiar at all with Swiss wines. (My partner’s family is based in southern Germany, in the wine region. He immigrated to Canada as a little boy many decades ago. But we did bike-tour his birth region a few years ago and it was lovely.)
Jean, next time you’re in the region you should try some Swiss wines; there are many excellent ones, especially Pinot Noir reds and Chasselas/Fendant whites.
thank you for the follow Ellen. I look forward to getting to know you 🙂 *Brigid
